Partnering with the Halton Women’s Centre to bring hope, dignity, and choice to women rebuilding their lives.
This holiday season, I’m honoured to partner with the Halton Women’s Centre to support their Light the Path campaign , an initiative that helps women and families in our community rebuild after crisis.
Through advocacy, counselling, and essential programs, the Centre provides a safe and supportive environment for women facing violence, poverty, or transition. Together, we’re helping shine a light on hope, dignity, and new beginnings.
Some of the deepest wounds are the ones that no one else can see. Survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) often carry invisible pain, emotional scars felt as anxiety, fear, and trauma. These are weights unseen, yet deeply real and heavy. As we approach the International Day for the Elimination of Gender-Based Violence, The Women’s Centre of Halton is committed to shining a light on invisible violence through Light the Path 2025.
For many women, crisis takes away the simple power of choice. The Holiday Market redefines giving, while transforming donations into a dignified experience where each woman can choose the gifts, items, and essentials that best serve her and her family.
This approach helps rebuild confidence and joy, one thoughtful choice at a time.
